Exartmusthicate is a Rock/Post-Hardcore/Modern Rock band from Sandakan, Sabah that were influence by Avenged Sevenfold, Asking Alexandria, A day to remember, Blessthefall, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Black Veil Brides, Muse, Megadeth, Bunkface, Hujan, Azlan and The Typewriter, Meet Uncle Hussein, etc.

Exartmusthicate (Pronounce as Ex-zart-mius-thi-ket) is the name stands for the combined results from several elements that reflect the true picture of music produced by Exartmusthicate, which is "Authentic Art of Extortionate Music" (Mixed here and there of the element then it happens to be “Exartmusthicate”. Exartmusthicate is a band formed at the end of 2010 which comprises One, Alex and Beng. Exartmusthicate’s founder that is One and Alex formed the band in 2009 where during that period the band still doesn’t have any name yet. Then, in early 2010 Alex and One decided to recruit Beng as the third member of the band and they started to create a bundle of name as the end result comes to the name of Exartmusthicate.

Their first produced song entitled “Losing you” was recorded at the Borneo Music Technology, Asia City, Kota Kinabalu.

During 2011 and 2012, EX8 start recruiting new member where Mykee replaced Beng. EX8 continue to produce Demo’s that were recorded D.I.Y. Then, they produced two latest song entitled “Sedar” and “Light up the Light” that were recorded by them (instrument) and vocal recorded and music mastered at Eyes and Ears Production. Both song sung by Mykee (Temporary Vocal).

Entered Gig in Sandakan “Back to Stay Volume 2”, Entered few Battle of the Band, UMS’s Tamu Gadang Rentak Juara 2012 and Battle of the Band in Sandakan.

2013, Beng is back and they manage to find their new drummer, James. They try to improve their quality on writing their new song, experimenting new vibe and new surroundings and they found heavier sound to their guitar riff and drumming pattern.
